Are you interested in real estate development, urban planning, finance, or community development? CMHA is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Development Intern to join our Development Department and gain hands-on experience supporting affordable housing initiatives that make a lasting impact in our communities.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about the affordable housing development process from concept through completion while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to creating quality housing opportunities for residents throughout the region.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Development Intern, you will:

Assist with affordable housing development projects and initiatives
Conduct market, demographic, and housing research
Support project planning, reporting, and data analysis
Participate in meetings with internal departments and external stakeholders
Help track project schedules, milestones, and development activities
Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation
Gain exposure to real estate development, finance, construction, and property management operations

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Students or recent graduates pursuing degrees in:

Real Estate
Urban Planning
Finance
Business Administration
Public Administration
Community Development
Construction Management
Architecture
Or a related field
